Question for November brides

When are you planning on ordering the BM dresses?

i think we're going to end up getting ours from David's so we're not stressing about ordering them (we just checked that both of the ones we're interested in are not going to be discontinued). we'll probably order by the end of this month and they'll come in anywhere from 2-6 weeks later. some other places have told me it can take up to 4 or 5 months so if you're ordering from elsewhere you might want to do it soon. HTH!

I think it depends on which bridal boutique you go to. Some places would tell you they need more time for ordering, delivery and all that. I plan to order mine before the end of May. The place I'm ordering from requires 3-4 months before wedding date. Hopefully, that should be enough time for arrival and alterations.

I was a BM for another friend and her bm dresses took about 6 months so yeah I think it depends on the place. It definitely would be good to do it soon so that you can have one less thing to think about.

I ordered mine 2 weeks ago from Lillette's. I still need to order my Jr BM dresses. Carol at Lillette's said they should be ordered in mid-June.

We ordered them about 2 or 3 weeks ago.... said they would be in Aug/ Sept

I ordered them exactly 1 month ago. I think June should be fine - just make sure that they'll be in on time. I was told 3-4 months for the girls dresses to come in.

I think i may have to go with David's as well.
My MOH is 8 months pregnant and due June 5th.
So we need to give her a while before we order a dress. David's said the can do it in 4-6 weeks so i think we'll go there in July/August and hope it works out!!!

I ordered the Jr. BM dresses in Feb. through a bridal store and they are expected to arrive in June - 4 months total.

I ordered the BM dresses from netbride.com in Feb. and they are on their way to me and are expected to arrive on Monday.

Seems like 4 months would be the time you should allow in ordering from a bridal store.
