I have been a little anxious about Lombardis on the Sound since I booked it and havent' seen it. My dad visited for me, and he really didn't like the ballroom. But that cocktail room is gorgeous with that view of the Sound.
Anyway, if for some reason, when I visit in 2 weeks and change my mind, I want to have a few places to look at. I love the ballroom of the NRC but can anyone give me info. about the cocktail room. I can't find any pics of it. Also, what are the prices like. I need to have a Spring or Summer wedding b/c of my brother's football season. And in my family, its all about the football! hahaha!

oh, I forgot, I specifically, I wanted to know what the cocktail room looks like and also if they have enough seating for all of your guests?

Go to www.northritzclub.com and take the virtual tour. You can see the cocktail room. It is really pretty and there is definitely enough seating!

If it is nice the guests can also go outside for the cocktail(there is a bar out there too!)

I'm having my wedding at another place but I went to a wedding back in NRC and thought the place was beautiful and the food was very good. I posted a review on a thread that says 'Have You Been to a Wedding at?' that I created. It shows from a guest's point of view. I will bump it for you. Hope this is helpful

I am getting married at the NRC and am planning from Los Angeles. The place is really pretty and as mentioned above there is a great view of the cocktail room through the virtual tour - its really pretty and great because on the nice day you have the option to go outside. Also the ballroom is fairly large and can seat about 300 guest, maybe even more. I would definitely recommend it - Jenny at NRC has been very acoomdating and helpful with me being from Cali myself.
