If you are going to NY 2-3 days before your wedding, How soon before you get your marriage license? Can you get them from the state that you live before you leave for NY?
Anyone had experience with this??

You have to get your license in NY State in order to marry in NY State. You can get your license a maximum of 60 days before your wedding but no less than 24 hours before.

I think your going to need to make a quick trip up to NY with FH a little before the wedding

We got our license about 4 days before the wedding. We came up from fl about a week beforehand. No problem at all. U dont need to make a special trip to ny for this. Just call your town hall and make sure of their hours and if they will be open in they 2 or 3 days before your wedding.
