How do you get to the marina area that is by Shea? It looks so nice and would like to go there on a nice sunny day...

I don't know for usre, but I would think you cna just take the VW and go right at the split like you're going to shea, and then there are signs that point you to all of the many different things around there...near where the Van Wyck meets the LIE

You'd have to take the Grand Central Pkway & stay in the right lane and there is a turnoff for it.
Years ago my friends' dad owned it & she had her Sweet 16 there!

where the grand central and the van wyk split you stay to the left however you get on the road is up to you as long as you end up on the grand central get off at the marina. I normally get off at Northern and take it from there. i find it easier. Bumpier but easier

Yeah but staying on the left at the van wyck split takes on the northern state towars manhattan...that is past Shea and the marina...NO?
