Question for Sizzix Owners

DH got me a sizzix for Christmas so I was going to ask my mom & sis to chip in and get me an alphabet.

I just can't decide which one to get

There's the sizzlets (which come with upper & lower case letters, numbers & punctuation)

Script:

Girls are Weird:

The regular alphabets (all the above components are sold seperately)

Lollipop

Fun Serif

Shadow:

The sizzlets seem to be the best value since you get upper & lower case letters but I hear they are pretty small.

Which one do you think would be the best one to start out with?

yikes...sorry I voted and I am not a sizzix owner :(

but I voted for the script kit...I think it is more versitile...

but I cannot comment on the size...do you know how big they are? I have 2 ' stencils...and they are pretty big..

I have no idea how big (or small the letters are). The dies are 2 3/8' x 2 5/8 but there are 4 different dies you could make from them.

I don't have Sizzix yet either(but its on my Christmas list)
I have been thinking alot about the letters too and most of them seem like they're better for kid related pages-I like the Script & the Fun Serif the best because I think they are more grown up.

have you guys checked on ebay...they have some good deals on alphabets....

I don't think the sizzlets script will be on ebay yet since they are in new release.

I found out the capital letters of the sizzlets are 5/8' and the lower case letters are 3/8'. That's pretty small.

I'll have to look at my layouts to see how big I usually make titles & subtitles.

I searched with sizzlet...and nothing...but then I searched sizzix script and those came up

I started with the lollipop (uppercase) and want Shadow next ( I have seen tons of great LO's with them) but I agree with what everyone said on the script!!!!

Well, Santa (I hear) got me the Serif letters for the sizzix.

I might ask my mother & sis to chip in and get me the sizzlet script letters for Christmas.

Does anyone know if Michaels is going to carry the sizzlets? I would love to use one of their coupons
