starting to do our seating... do you think 7 people at a table would look too empty? Its either this or split them up between two other existing tables (and therefore those tables will just be a little bit more crowded than the others). thoughts?

Re: question for table arrangements...
i could split up these people into existing tables we have, and there can be a max of 12 at each, but i was not sure if that is going to be too overcrowded..

I dont think 12 is overcrowded at 12. I think 12 looks better than 7. 7 is a little empty.
AND you would have one less CP so you'd save money

Also if you want 7 at a table make sure its ok with the RH. I just found out yesterday if we have less than 8 at a table we are charged $25 for each table!

Yea definitely check. My RH told us our minimum at a table was 10. But I have two with 8 and one with 9 so I called to make sure it wouldn't be a problem.

Re: question for table arrangements...
ask if you could push 2 tables together, my hall does this to a few tables if needed that way no one is separated

Re: question for table arrangements...
I think it depends how big the tables are. My RH's tables seat 8, so 7 would work fine for us. However, if they seated 12, I think it might look empty.

Yep, was going to mention this. Our oval tables say 12-14 ppl. I had 1 table of 8 and another sat 9. Most of our tables were 10-12 though. It worked out perfectly since I cut out 2 CPs by switching from round to oval.
Also, be sure to ask where your vendors will eat. Same room or in another room. No one mentioned it to me until the last week. So I accounted for a CP for the vendor table.
