Yeah, it's weird. One day you have all this time and the next day it's sooo close. It feels bizarre. But it's soo exciting too!!

Re: Question for the married girls
Three weeks prior to it, I had a TON to do for the wedding, plus a lot of packing to do (since I was moving into DH's place right after the wedding).
So for two weeks, I was MAD BUSY...then the final week before I slept like a baby. Everything had fallen into place and the nightmares were all over when I'd go to sleep.
It is like a dream...and it only happens once, so let it be your fairytale!

That's kind of how I felt. I was pretty much done with everything the beginning of the week before, so the couple days before I didn't have much to do.
Like Jackie said, even while I was getting my hair and makeup done, I still didn't feel it. For me it was when I stepped into my dress.

Re: Question for the married girls
its weird. the weeks leading up, we still had stuff to do. so its like we couldnt procrastinate anymore. and some side projects, we cancelled. bc none of us cared anymore (e.g., john wanted to make a slide montage w our baby pics)
that day was awesome. i was ready! but it still felt surreal. all this planning, was actually happening. thankfully we didnt have any major snafus that we were aware of. so it was just like executing on everything we planned. it was awesome!
enjoy every second. even the million times you will hear 'are you ready?' 'are you nervous?' just take it all in

Re: Question for the married girls
I still get chills thinking/talking about it. It really is surreal. I didn't believe it was really here in the weeks leading up to it, but about 5 days before, I started becoming really really cranky & uptight! So not me! Although, I have to say, everyone accepted me being bossy as they know the real me, I'm always the nice/helpful/calm one and it was less than a week.
Day of? Totally calm. No freak outs. I only had my bff with me that morning until about an hour before when everyone (not DH) came over to take the limo together. I kept telling everyone that if they weren't using a calm voice, they had to leave the house
The rest of the day....perfection!

Re: Question for the married girls
I had very little to do the last couple of weeks, which was good because I was so over the planning. My answer to everything was, 'If its not done by now, its not going to be done.' I was completely looking forward to seeing everything come together & being in Hawaii.
