Sorry to intrude here--this is a stupid gift giving question--do people who visit your new baby usually bring gifts whenever they visit, even if they've already given something to the baby before?

My SIL just had a baby and the first time everyone saw the baby they all brought a gift. Mostly clothing because they didn't find out what they were having. Some people bought a personalized gift with the baby's name and birthday on it. It was really cute and nice. Hope that helps.

Yes most people brought the baby a gift when they came to see him for the first time. Even those who already gave a gift at my baby shower ( usually just a little something nothing huge or expensive)

Most people brought over stuffed animals, some of the little stuff left over on my registry, a pack of pampers, if the baby is drinking formula some people ever brought us a case of formula ( the diapers and or the formula is the most useful!!! You usually don't get much if any at your shower and its something you definitely need!!!)

I always do. Something smaller than was given at the shower most of the time. The last gift I gave someone was a frame with the babys name and bday on it. Another thing that is cute is a baby handprint or footprint mold. Ive given that a few times (you can get it at BRU or online). Of course clothes are always popular, especially if the gender was a surprise till the baby was born.

I almost always do and so far almost everyone who came by to see the baby after he was born has brought a gift.

We received little gifts by almost everyone who visited the baby...in addition to what has been said we received flowers with a gift certificate from target, and one couple brought over a meal to share with extra for a night down the road...
