Question for Those Getting Married at the Hall

Are you and FH taking pics together after the ceremony?

We will probably do a few after on the grounds as well, but we want to go to the CH

we're seeing each other b4 the ceremony and taking all the pics then. After the ceremony we'll probably take a few (in the reception room while everyone's at Cocktail hour) then head into Cocktail hour and enjoy the rest of the night.

We are not seeing each other before the wedding.We are going to take pics in and around the hall after the cermony.This is my only real issue I have because, we are dead against seeing each other before hand and we really can not go somewhere like the beach to take pics.

We're taking pics at Old Westbury Gardens before the ceremony. I was a little bummed at first bc I wanted him to first see me walking down the aisle but our DOC is setting up a really nice first moment for us at the gardens. I'm totally over it now and am glad we are getting the pics out of the way

My Ceremony does not start until 7pm, so we are taking pictures during the day

yea our ceremony doesnt start till 730pm so I wasnt sure what I should do

yeah, it's the only way b/c our wedding isn't starting till 8:30PM. In a Jewish wedding you're actually officially married b4 the ceremony when you sign the ketubah

we're gonna have a limo pick us, and the BP up, at the OOT guest hotel where we will be getting ready.

Nope... we're taking the pics at the hotel then heading to the temple, which is about 5 minutes down the road. Probably having my parents drive us over. Saving us money on the limo and we can put it to other stuff. No one is going so see us come in and out of it anyway.

same here! our ceremony is not until 7pm so we are taking pics in oakdale b4 and possibly old westbury gardens. We will take pics after the ceremony around the RH during cocktail hour as we don't plan on attending.

i think i'm the only one this thread so far but we're not seeing each other before hand. our ceremony's at 6:30 and it'll still be light out afterwards so we'll do pics together during cocktail hour (we may also extend it a little bit).

Same here! We'll be seeing and taking pictures before the ceremony. Our cocktail hour and reception follow immediately after the ceremony and i don't want to be rushed into taking pictures. We're going to cocktail hour and doing the meet and greet the guests, and then we will enjoy our reception!

Yeah, I was real apprehensive about letting him see me before the wedding also, but, my photographer totally convinced me.....besides he's setting up the whole 'first time meeting' so it'll be great! He totally convinced me when he told me that we'll get to show each other our true full reactions and not have to worry about getting right to the ceremony.....I don't know, that completely sold me once I thought about it. So, yeah, we're seeing each other for pics beforehand....

Not seeing each other until I walk down the aisle. This is my 2nd wedding and first time around we took pics beforehand. Not that it wasn't special but definitely not the feeling I was looking for when I walked down the aisle.

This time I really want it to be different. I want that 'breathless' feeling when I see the man of my dreams waiting for me ( we're not seeing each other for almost 2 days before so I know I'll be missing him like crazy!) As far as cocktail hour, I'm having a small wedding party so we're not having too many pics. My photographer convinced me it should take about 30 minutes to take the pics of the two of us which means I can enjoy half of it. I'm looking more foward to the party anyway

All other pics will be taken before..me and parents, him and his, me and MOH, etc..all except me and him and us with our families.
