Have you ever spotted for no reason in the middle of a cycle, like a week before your period.
Is this normal, and I am not preggo so that's not it?

did you take your pill at different times of the day? Sometimes that makes me spot.
Eta, sometimes I just spot. I mentioned it to two different gynos and they both said it was fine.

Hey Merrie!!!
I had that happen 2 or 3 times. It is normal. But I still always called my dr so that they could note it my chart in case it wasn't.

I have been on the pill for 6 years, and I think only like once or twice that happened at the begginging, I haven't spotted in many years so that is why I thought it was wierd.
It also happened yesterday and today!!

I spot sometimes a few days after my period has ended. But for the last few months, I have been skipping a blue pill, so my period will come a day earlier. I'm trying to make mine start on a Sunday night, and I'm almost there since when I originally started on a Thurs. night. That could be causing spotting for me. But this has also made my period only last for 3 days also.

Okay today is the 3rd day and still spotting. I am going to call my doctor, this doesn't seem normal.

Oh I want to do this. Did your Dr. tell you to do it?
About the spotting...I've bben on the pill for 4 years now. I never had spotting or any problems at all. A few months ago I had spotting mid-pack, and then again for 2 months after that. The doctor said don't worry. Anyway It doesn't happen anymore. Weird.

yes and if there is one thing that drives me very crazy, it is spotting. i hate that. i spotted for the first month that i was on the pill and i was also spotting when i tried to do the first skipping my period thing. drives me nuts!

I spotted at first but I have been on the pill on and off (mostly on) since I was 18. I just tried starting a brand new pack so I could skip my period just last week. Well I might as well have it anyway, I have been spotting so much!
