so i was ter tottering between tahiti and hawaii and i think i decided on hawaii. so for those of you that are going, what islands are you visiting and where are you staying?

haven't booked anything yet, but decided to go to oahu for two nights(to see pearl harbor), five nights at kauai, and five nights in maui.

We are flying into Honolulu and staying at the Waikiki Beach Resort and Spa for 5 days and then going on a Cruise for 7 days.
Here is the itinerary:
Sun Honolulu Mon & Tue Kauai Wed Hilo Thu Kona Fri & Sat Maui (Kahului) Sun Honolulu

We are flying in and out of Maui (wanted to avoid big city of Honolulu) and staying for 1 week in Maui and 1 week in Big Island.
So far, all we have is flights!

We are going to fly to Maui stay there for 6 nights...at the Hyatt, then go to Kaui and stay there for 5 nights - Hyatt, and then go to Oahu for 2 nights so that we can go to pearl harbor..then we are flying home from Oahu (Honolulu). FH mom is a TA so she guided us and told us to spend most of the time between Maui and Kaui..FM for more details!!

I hear Maui is a MUST do!!!! We actually won our hotel in Honolulu so...we couldn't pass up free. But from what I understand, you can fly round trip between islands for like 30 dollars...so even if we decide to stay else where for the night...we won't have to carry our luggage. The cruise just gives us a taste of Hawaii...it will give us an idea of where to go back to.

Im crashing. I just came back from Hawaii and it was amazing for my HM. We went on the Norweigian cruise for 7 days and it hit all the major island. It went to Kona, Kaui'i, Maui, Hilo. It was nice but the cruise only give you a taste and I don't recommend this cruise line because food was not great or the service.
But if and when I got back Kona, maui, and Waikki Beach (which we went to after the cruise and stayed a day in half) was amazing. I would recommend staying on beach in Waikki at a hotel and also Maui was great we were there for 2 days rented a car and just drove around to explore that island.
