Did you have them write the names of all of the members on the contract? Also does your contract read continuous music? He told me they would be playing continuous music, but FH thinks it should say that on the contract.

Yes, all the names are down on the contract....but I didn;t have them write continuous music- that's a really good idea! They may think you are crazy....but who cares!!

they wrote both on the contract and it stated that if some one leaves the band we can hear their replacement before the wedding

Yes all the names and continuous in the contract. Also continuous means different things like are they all going to play all the time or a few people will play or a CD will play.
Also, you may not know in advance if a band member is replaced. Do you think the band is going to call each bride and tell them? If you are really concerned call them. Happened to my cousin..she gets to her wedding and half the band members are different. She was really pissed off.

I dont have either! Now I'm going to have a nervous breakdown. I can just picture them sitting there staring at everyone and saying 'you never said continuous music...'

I have both & that If a band member is replaced I will get to here them before the wedding. If I am not satisfied I can cancel for a full refund. I also have that it will be 'live continuous music' They will never pop in a CD.
I am so meticulous with contracts. I figure it protects them in so many ways it should protect me that much as well. I mean we are the ones paying all this $ for them . They work for us not the other way around.
I even had my photographer put that in the event he cannot take the photos personally that I will get a full refund and that he will help to find a replacement as well!

we don't have the names but have the pieces that are included and the lead singers name and that if she must be there in order for them to uphold their end of the contract.
we have continuous live music too--that's important.

We have the band member names but do not have continuous music written in exactly. They have two fifteen minute breaks written instead and the band leader will be playing acoustic guitar with one singer.

Oh yah, we have 'live continuos music' written in our contract too... 100% that these contracts should cover our a**es as well as theirs...we're paying a lot of money for this

yes yes yes.. Get everything written down-- we made our band write in everything- the girl was like, I have never written this much before.. It's always good to have it in writing.

We had them write the band members name but they did not write continous music....Thanks, I will definitely look into that and make sure that I know what we are getting.
