I had my shower 2 weeks ago, got a lot of stuff from my registry from Macys. Today I got a package from UPS from them and it had a vegetable bowl from my china pattern. I figured it was a late gift. Then I looked at my invoice and it had also my hostess set from my silver on it as a backorder. I looked to see who it was from and it said it was a bridal bonus gift?? Maybe I was not paying attention when I registered, but I didnt know that I was entitled to a bonus? Did anyone else get anything like this at all from Macys?

I registered there but I haven't had my shower yet. I wasn't aware of any bonus programs. Sounds like a good deal though. Enjoy!

This is a Macy's gift. I also received the vegetable bowl because 10 place settings of my china were bought. I received a phone call first (she didn't want to ruin the surprise of my shower) and then a letter in the mail. It is a Macy's promotion, not a manufacturer promotion.

Yes, I received a bonus gift too! They did not explain that to me when I registered but it was a nice suprise. I received the serving set for my flatware after my shower. I think they try to complete a set of something that was purchased off of your registry. Very nice

Jenn, the same thing happened to me, except I got an e-mail notice about the free gift before my shower so I was really confused!
If you go back and look at your registry kit, there's a note in there saying that if you meet certain 'completions' of your registry, you get a gift from Macy's. Because all my place settings were bought I received a Lenox serving spoon and fork in gold-so it was because of a few people buying me things that I got this bonus.
Considering how much macy's makes on us brides they should send all of us gifts!

I guess that is what it was, all my place settings got bought, so I got the free gifts, which I am psyched about. I just went back and looked at my registry and it is over $100 in freebies, which is awesome.
