Question for those who sent out STD's

I mailed the bulk of mine with our Xmas cards, but had a bunch left over Now that we've nailed down the wedding guest list, I would like to send a few more out. How do I?? Do I enclose a little note?? What do I say??

What exactly did you send with your xmas cards?

Can you just send the same thing just with the xmas cards?

We put the STD in with the Xmas cards and said 'see you soon'. I just feel weird sending the STD by itself - I guess I could use blank cards and do the same thing.

How about a Valentine's Day card? or just a note?
we did the same thing with our christmas cards and with the couple of extras we just sent 'thinking of you' cards with the STD inside.

What if you put them in small envelopes and sent them by itself.

I put them in small envelopes and just sent them out alone.
Yours didnt come w/envelopes?
You can buy envelopes in all sizes at the Paper Store on Rt 110.

Same here, sent them alone w. matching envelopes. Am actually sending out a few more this week, as FH was slow in getting some of his friends addresses. Apparently he did not realize that just listing them as 'John V from Brooklyn' would not work

I gave my FH a date that we needed them by, and of course he was late with it, but his mom is still giving me addresses, so i just take them and if he wants them sent out he can handle it. I have moved on to other wedding plans, sorry!!!

I'm confused what you used as your STD. Why couldn't you mail it alone? This is what I sent in an envelope with no other enclosures. My print was in Navy.

I also sent mine as an insert in holiday cards. I'd say that to send them out now you should just buy some pretty cards that are blank inside, and write a note like you did at the holidays.

Thanks for the suggestions ladies. We have STD magnets, so I felt weird just sending them by themselves. I don't know - maybe it's just me

Since they are magnets I would just get blank cards and write a little something in them, and enclose the magnets in the card. Or maybe you could make something on the computer that matches the magnets and print it on heavy paper.
