question for those who used netbride...

where did your girls go to get measured for the dresses???

if possilbe, can you list anything on long island or in queens??

you can go to any bridal store & try on the dress & get measured. i like bridal reflections in carle place & massapequa. make sure to write down the exact measurements and/or the size from the designer's size chart. you could always measure yourself with a tape measure.

however, if you tell them that you are NOT ordering from them, but off a website, expect some pretty ****ed off salesladies!

i figured the girls could go individually or maybe two at once and say that they are in an out of town wedding....

My BM went to all different places all over the country to get measured and then called me with their measurements. I then looked at the size chart and ordered the dresses accordingly.

My BMs just got measured at their local tailor. You need bust, waist and hips. Then they picked the size they needed from the size chart on netbride. It worked out perfectly.

my girls got measured at the bridal salon where they tried the dresses on (where I got mine). I had the saleslady take the measurements and said we'd order them all together once we decided on the final dress, but that the girls should be measured since they wouldn't be back.

As they took the measurements, I wrote them down and ordered the sizes based on the online size charts.

(didn't use netbride, but its the same process)

I didn't need to have mine measured, they tried on the sample of their dresses on at Paradise Bridal, he samples fit, I bought those sizes. I guess we were lucky.
