Question for WATERMILL brides

I am having my ceremony outside and they advised me NOT to use an aisle runner (tripping). I was wondering if any Watermill brides have used an aisle runner outside.

I didnt get married outside but I can understand if you have one that maybe the guests could trip and get hurt. Maybe if they roll it out right when you walk down and then pick it up.

Thats odd since they included an aisle runner in my contract. My opinion is if you want it, do it. Its your wedding! Don't let anymore mess with your vision.

I got married outside at the Watermill but I didn't use a runner. Maybe they're worried about the pavers underneath the runner. I guess I understand their concern since there wouldn't be a flat surface underneath the runner. It's your wedding and if that's something you want then you should do it. Good luck...and enjoy your wedding.
