Will you be wearing a fur wrap or caplet? If so, where will you be getting it from? I found a website that rents them, which seems logical to do, but I don't like that I can't try it on first (unless I rent it twice of course).

Re: question for winter brides
I will be buying a white borero, and either black muffs or black boreros for my bridal party ... I'm buying them from the place is doing alterations for my dress.. we can't try them on though because they need to order them, but they come in like small med. large so I figure most people will just get w/e they usually wear and hope for the best lol

Re: question for winter brides
Is March still considered winter? If so, no, not doing anything. My ceremony and reception are in the same place, but even if they weren't, all I'd be doing is walking from the car inside so I can handle that w/o a wrap. We're going to try and take some pictures outside if it's not too cold, but I don't want wraps or anything in the pictures, and I would only keep us outside for a few minutes so we'll all be ok. I'll keep crossing my fingers though for some freak warm weather.

Re: question for winter brides
I don't think i'll use one.... I'm getting married at the RH - so all i'll have to worry about is leaving my parents house & getting in and out of the limo. If i get cold - i'll use FH's suit jacket...

Re: question for winter brides
i like the bolero styles too, esp since i love the top part of my dress and you can still see it w/ the bolero. but since my ceremony is at the RH, i'm now wondering if it's worth having something custom fitted (which would need to be done, i'm very short) when i'm only going to be wearing it for a total of 30 min. these are the decisions that bog me down

I would think its completely up to your budget. I personally love the cold and am happiest in freezing weather...so it wouldn't bother me. If you have the room in your budget to get one and it'll make ya happy - go for it! I also have issues spending money on things we'll only use once for the wedding...so that's another issue - but it's MY issue. I'm having problems with DOJ because of that...i just can't see spending so much money on something that won't be worn again...so we've spent a lot of time trying to find something I would wear again. Maybe if you can think of other times you'll wear the wrap thingy....go for it! In the end - it's what you want that'll make you happy!

Thanks for all of your input
I'm thinking if I'm only going to be wearing it for 20 min, it's probably not worth getting. If I need to brave the cold for a few minutes I'm sure I can.

Honestly with the bolero, if its short enough, you could totally pair it with some cute jeans a shirt underneath after the wedding! thats why I am getting it, because I'm going to wear it after the wedding ... I plan on giving my bridesmaids there beforehand so maybe we will even wear them all for the Bach. party, so we all stand out! lol
