I am not TTC just yet, but can anyone let me know what time frame did you find the most difficult to be pregnant. In the beginning when you have to hide it, fear of MC and you are not showing, in the middle months when you start showing a little and gaining weight, or at the end where you have a big belly, feel the baby kicking, etc.
Just wondering what you all think. I have heard from friends they found it difficult being in the stage where they just started getting the belly and I have heard at the end, but then recently a friend said the worst was in the beginning because she was constantly worrying about a MC and she had to hide it from most people....
Just thought it would be intersting to see what you all think.

Re: Question for you all...
I think in general people are more anxious in the beginning and then once you hear the baby's heartbeat, you then feel more relaxed and then once you get through the first three months you feel much more calm and you start showing. That my opinion anyway.

Re: Question for you all...
Well, I haven't been in the third trimester yet, but from what I've experienced so far, the first 16 weeks were just awful for me. I had a miscarriage before this pregnancy, so for the first 12 weeks, though I didn't hide it from my closest friends and family (needed the emotional support) I was still so tremendously anxious, going into the Doctor's office at least once a week for blood tests/ultrasounds. On top of that, I had the WORST morning sickness (that seems to be lingering well into the 18 week mark ), which made it so difficult to eat, sleep and function...

Re: Question for you all...
the first trimester was very stressfull for me, besides the fact that I was always concerned about the baby, we were going through some hassles which made it worse. I have to say thought, that I had the best pregnancy ever, i miss that time sometimes.

Re: Question for you all...
The first trimester was the worst for me -- I was very nervous without the reassurance of movement and I had all-day morning sickness.

Re: Question for you all...
Luckily I was one of those people who didn't get sick in the beginning, so I would have to say the end (3rd trimester)...was horrible!! I'm a petite person to begin with, so once my baby started to grow, I felt like I ran out of room for him, I couldn't breath right because he would put tons of pressure on my chest (there was times I couldnt even wear a bra)and ribs, sleeping was another issue and his kicking was out of control! Other then that, it was GREAT!!....only A mommy would say that

Re: Question for you all...
I was anxious during the 1st trimester bc of fear of miscarriage. But other than that I have had a good pregnancy - no morning sickness at all. Now with 5 weeks to go things are getting uncomfortable. I'm not sleeping well, my body aches sometimes and I'm just plain 'ol tired.

Re: Question for you all...
For me the hardest time was the end of the 7th to the 8th month or so. I had hurt my hand and was all stitched and bandaged - being that huge and only having one hand is difficult. On top of that, I was the busiest at work then I had been in a long time. I had a sinus infection that knocked my out. I found out I had the Strep B virus and GD. The GD was so depressing to me. I was put on a strict diet and had to take my blood 4 times a day and eat at certain times of the day. You feel like you may do something bad to your baby and I just had a real hard time with the GD and accepting it. I was very depressed.
Physically though - I hated all the queasy times - which was throughout the entire pregnancy.
