I am a crier. I just can't help it. I cry over anything.
How many people cried during the ceremony? Or at all during the day.

Re: Question fort the married ladies....
i cried a lil bit as i was getting ready, cause my mom, MOH, and BM were getting misty-eyed.
we did pics beforehand, and i teared up when we had our big 'reveal' moment. then a few tears fell as i was walking down the aisle....it wasn't until we were pronounced man and wife and we had our first kiss that i cried again. i made it thru the ceremony pretty well.
for me i didn't cry so much as i thought i would cause we saw each other beforehand and it calmed me down

Re: Question fort the married ladies....
I was getting teary-eyed in the limo with my dad- but the limo driver played some fun music that made my dad and smile and sing along!
I was much more relaxed once I got to the church and took a peek at DH from my 'hidden' room- I had such a sense of calmness -I smiled so big down the aisle and only became teary when saying our vows and when the priest read the hand ceremony- but no cry crying! I was just so happy!

Re: Question fort the married ladies....
I only cried once - which I thought was amazing.
It was when my flowers were delivered. I had my father's picture put in a frame which was attached to my bouquet. As soon as I saw how beautiful the flowers were - then saw my father's picture - I started bawling.
Aside from that - honestly I was so excited and happy that day - no tears!

I did. Just before my ceremony, the bridal attendant commented on the picture of my father attached to my bouquet - he had only passed away 6 months before the wedding. My brother looked at me and asked if I was ok. I said 'No, I miss Daddy.' Then the TWO of us walked down the aisle crying.

Re: Question fort the married ladies....
I cried when I saw DH when I was walking down the isle. And, I also cried when I was saying my vows. There was no way to avoid it, but I think it made the ceremony more personal for me because I allowed myself to get emotional in front of DH and all of our guests.
ETA: I also cried after my dad completely lost it in the limo on the way to the church. I can't handle my dad crying so I was a mess just as we were pulling up to the church.

Re: Question fort the married ladies....
I am a HUGE crier...I was a mess leading up tot he wedding, during the rehearsal, etc....but on our wedding day I was just soo so happy --I cried and laughed a little during my sister's/MOH speech but that was it---I totally surprised myself and my friends/family since they were all expecting me to cry! My best friend told me this might happen and she was right.

Re: Question fort the married ladies....
I cried when my dad and I were walking down the aisle- I made the mistake of saying to him when you 'Give me away' and he took it to heart- and he started crying as we were walking down the aisle (which is so funny b/c DH and i live NEXT DOOR to him and my mom now!!!)
Then I cried when he and I danced too- even though we picked a song that we wouldn't cry to (You are my special angel)
I also cried when DH and I were saying our vows.

Re: Question fort the married ladies....
I did not cry until our first dance! My husband was shocked as I am a big time crier! I guess I was just so overwhelmed & living in the moment, I didn't have enough time to cry!!

Re: Question fort the married ladies....
I am a huge crier as well, so naturally thought I'd be a mess. I was holding it together pretty well walking down the aisle until I could see DH at the end and not only was he crying, but he was SOBBING. Bright red face, big huge cry. I expected him to shed a tear or get misty, but wasn't expecting that! That was it for me. I was worried about my makeup though, so still held it together pretty well. I also cried a little during our first dance.
My advice...if it happens, it happens. I think you will be surprised like I was that you're so overwhelmed by all the emotions throughout the day that you won't be hysterical.

Re: Question fort the married ladies....
I didnt cry at all which was surprising because I was a basket case the week before the wedding. All I did was cry. But I was so calm and relaxed. I guess I got it all out before.

Re: Question fort the married ladies....
i thought i was going to cry all day.
i cried when i looked at myself in the mirror when i was dressed.
i cried when i came down the stairs and saw all my beautiful bridesmaids.
then i cried dancing with my dad.
all in all it was such a happy day that i didnt really think to cry!

Re: Question fort the married ladies....
I KNOW I will cry walking down the aisle, during our vows, and probably dancing with my dad, too... but only because I'll be so happy and excited - they'll be GOOD tears.
I just hope I don't cry off all my makeup!
I have a feeling I'm going to get giggly, too.
I actually get so happy and sentimental I cry just thinking about the day!
