Question - Making a Monogram in MS Word...

I'm trying to make a monogram in MS word. I'm pretty sure I'm going about it all wrong.

I'm using text boxes to make the monogram so I can place the letters wherever I want. However, the lines around the text box remain in the document. How do I get rid of them / make them invisible? (Can I?)

You have to format so it says 'no line' in the format section. Does that help or are you still lost??

I got it now, thanks!

The big problem now is picking a font I like. Our last name will begin with P... very difficult letter to find a good font for!
