Should you buy the mother of the bride and or the mother of the groom a gift? I know you should buy the Wedding party gifts,but what about the parents of the wedding couple?

ours are getting a small parents album..
but were also buying them a picture frame for there enlargement.. i havent decided on what else...

Here is what we brought our parents so far. I am also buying my dad a special frame and create a poem that I am going to print on cardstock and the vellum is going to be a baby picture and attached with ribbon for each parent.
our parents requested that we not spend extra money on them, but we will give them enlargements in frames...they don't want albums either

we got our parents gift certificates from bnbfinder.com. they can use them at any b&b that accepts them.

I think it's entirely up to you. I think giving them the parents photo alum is a nice idea and maybe toasting them or taking time at the reception to thank them for all their help is nice. Maybe have the band/dj play their wedding song and have each set of parents dance alone....

Bought them gifts. I gave them the same bracelet that I gave my sister (MOH) and my sister-in-laws. We also bought the fathers gifts. Friends of mine have bought the Parents (mother and father) one gift, like a picture frame.

nee, that is what we are doing and then presenting the mothers with a boo-k and thr fathers with a garter.

ok, what if the grooms father past away, and the mother remarried~but my FI doesnt get along very well with his step-father. so much stuff 2 think about!!!

We are giving both parents gifts...besides the pictures and albums
What we are giving them we haven't decided yet..but one thought was dinner and a broadway show
