QUESTION - need your help please

Hi! I need some help - I am planning my friend's bachelorette party - and I was thinking of going to Hunkmania at Duvet club in NYC. I would like to go to a restaurant before the show, can anyone suggest any AFFORDABLE nice pubs or restaurants close by. The club is on W 21st street. I am totally lost when it comes to the city!! Thanks in advance!!!!!

Well its not close but Carmines on the upper east side is very affordable and very good for bringing large crowds...you can always take a cab to get to hunkamania.... good luck!

Pipa is incredible. Its on 19th and 5th. They have a prix fixe option for large groups. we went to FH's 30th and everyone thought the food was incredible.

Via Emilia is great and reasonable. It's on E 21st. There are so many great places in the area, mostly familiar with the East side of 21st like Angelo & Maxie's, Sushi Samba, Haru, Dos Caminos and City Crab. Here's the link for Via Emilia though:

Via Emilia

ETA that Via Emilia is cash only. Thought this would be important info. You have a ton of banks in the area for ATM access though, TD Bank is on the corner. HTH

The Park on 118 Tenth Ave @ 18th Street is a beautiful restaurant and the pricing is affordable. Or Jaiya Thai Restaurant on 45 West 21st. Both places have really good food and gorgeous interior & views.

There is a Carmine's in the theatre district. Much closer to Duvet than the upper east side. There is also Tony Di Napoli's in the theatre district which is very similar to Carmines. They are family style restaurants so keep that in mind.

I don't know of any restaurants really close to Duvet but there are some really affordable pubs in the theatre district. The Perfect Pint is good and affordable. You can take a cab or two afterwards.. It's only twenty or so blocks.
