A simple question for today but the answer is the reason to why we are all here... How did you find out about liw?!

I initially signed up because the banquet manager from the Watermill TOLD me to come on here and read the review about the place... His exact words? 'Those girls have no mercy, they tear things apart - you should check it out!'

Ha -- I'm a longtime lurker. Plus, my sister was on this site when she get married. I would say that was the first time I heard about this site!

I found it when I was MOH for my sisters wedding and helping her out, so I signed up then and I've been lurking around ever since!

I think I found it through some research then realized 2 of my good friends had used it a little bit - I signed up and that was it. But it was literally like a week or 2 after getting engaged lol

every time I googled a hall liweddings.com would show up, so I had to check it out. And as you all know its pretty addicting...

FSIL told me about it. I used to post on the Knot but I honestly got like zero help from girls on that chat board, plus half of them were very rude at times. LIW is sooooooooo much better!!

I was looking up RH's and their prices in Long Island and I kind of stumbled upon the site. I didn't post for a bit either but once I posted a question, I got like 3 answers within seconds

It impressed me enough to stay

I kept coming across it on google, but i didn't post for a long time (I am so computer dumb i wasn't even sure I knew how lol), but after my first post (finally) I was hooked!

When I typed in long island catering halls on google this site always popped up. I'd look at the venues then I saw a chat feature. I was soooo happy!!!

Before I was even engaged I googled something that was wedding related and this site popped up. I lurked for a little bit, and then after being engaged for like a week I joined!
