Hey girls sorry this question is late just got home from work but here we go ....
What is your feeling about more then one dress for the day of ?
I think it's fun to have a reception dress if you can afford it but on the other hand (even tho i haven't picked my dress yet) i have heard you make a special bond with your dress, and why would you want to take it off ?

Re: Question of the Day 7/9
I don't think I would get a 2nd dress - unless david Tutera does my wedding, then I will do whatever he wants! My reasoning is, you only get to wear this expensive & beautiful dress once, you go to fittings so you can look perfect in it - so why take it off??? I feel like you just blend in & don't really stand out any more.
But I did see some really nice 2nd dresses on My Fair Wedding that I would not mind wearing. I guess it depends on your personality & how much you care about the wedding dress

Question of the Day 7/9
I think if you can afford one then more power to ya, and a costume change is definitely dramatic and will surprise your guests (and possibly your groom lol).
I never really thought about it too much because I always knew there was no way it was making it into my budget. And since I've found my dress I've become mildly obsessed with it, and didn't want to take it off at the salon. I can't imagine wanting to change out of it the day of the wedding; I'm so looking forward to wearing it the whole day.

Question of the Day 7/9
I would go with only wearing one dress. I hope I love my dress so much I want to spend as much time as possible in it.

Re: Question of the Day 7/9
I think a second dress is a great option, but I LOVE my wedding dress!! I don't want to wear it for a 15 min ceremony and then take it off. I want to wear it all night!

Question of the Day 7/9
I think there is nothing wrong with a second dress but like many other aspects of the wedding it really depends on the bride and type of wedding. I don't want to miss one second and changing would waste too much time!!!

Question of the Day 7/9
I don't think I'm going to ever want to take my wedding dress off that day! I love it too much. I want to wear it as long as possible, squeeze every $$ out of it!

Re: Question of the Day 7/9
It depends on the bride. I love a good costume change, but for me, changing from the cathedral veil to a fun head piece will be enough. My dress is more perfect than I could have hoped for, and I'm more than content with one!

Question of the Day 7/9
I think it all depends on the bride and the style of your dress. My dress is really big and poofy. So I plan on getting a sexy dress to change into for the second part of my reception.

Question of the Day 7/9
I love my dress too much to even think another dress could compare. But I do plan on changing it up a bit. I'm using the lace straps on my dress for the church, then taking those off and putting on a necklace and sash for the reception.

Question of the Day 7/9
Like most of the other girls I think it really depends on the girl and the type of wedding. I am so in love with my dress that there is NO WAY I want to change half way through lol.

Question of the Day 7/9
I am WAY too in love with my dress to take it off before the end of the night. I feel like it depends on the person, but if you have such a connection to your first dress, why would you want to diminish that with a second dress? I don't know, I wouldn't, but like I said, I think it depends on the person.

Question of the Day 7/9
I haven't started dress shopping yet but I always said I would def not change my dress. It is going to be the most expensive dress I ever buy and I will only get to wear it 1 day. There is no way I am taking it off. Im going to sleep in it!

I agree!!! I want to wear it as much as possible!
But I will probably use my dress to make a christening dress if I have a girl in the future.

Re: Question of the Day 7/9
Especially now that I've found my dress I feel like I can answer ..
No. I'll be wearing one dress.
I found something I love, that has a corset-top like look with a matching skirt. Something that speak to romantic without being too heavy. It's really comfortable/swishy and I could easily dance in it once hemmed.
