What do you think will be your biggest adjustment during your first year of marriage?

For brides who already live with FH - do you think anything will change once you're married? If so, what?

FH and I don't live together so I think the biggest adjustment besides adjusting to living with each other will be getting used to our schedules. During the week, FH is up early for work (around 5:15am) and usually falls asleep early (around 9pm), whereas I'm usually up a lot later. On weekends, he wakes up around 6:30am, whereas I prefer to sleep in lol

I think the biggest adjustment will be waking up to go to work when he is off. FH is a teacher and I am not, so needless to say I am anticipating much jealousy when he has off all summer or on school breaks and I have to get dressed and head to work. BLAH!

Lol. My FH is off work dec-mar and it's Soooo hard to get outta bed. It's cold out and he's so warm and snuggly. But I prefer that to him being gone by 7:30am now... It's an adjustment!

We already live together. When we get married were gonna move to a younger neighborhood like park slope or Williamsburg or something. Right now we live in a pretty lame neighborhood but thats because its cheap and we need that for saving for the wedding. I dont think anything in our relationship will change really we have lived together for a few yeasrs now so were pretty much married now haha

Since FH and I already live together I don't think the adjustment will be that big, BUT I think the idea of shared fnances will be hard. We already made the decision of how we will run things, but I think the implementation will be difficult. I've always made more than him (until recentyl) and I have less debt so I think it'll take a lot for me to not be selfish and be like oh I wanted those shoes so I'm buying them and I don't care what you say!

I think the biggest adjustment will be living with each other and having a joint bank account. FH likes eating out a lot and that will have to change once we start sharing money.

I think the biggest adjustments for me would be us living together and getting used to the new last name.

FH and I already like together AND have an 18 month old son, so I don't think there's much more adjusting to be done for us. Lol it will just be nice to have everything 'official'

I think the biggest adjustment will be FH moving into my condo(3rd floor) with his dog. He has a yellow lab whocurrently has the run of the yard at FH's house and once they move in with me, that will be no longer!!

I love the dog to pieces but FH has created a monster and the dog is very spoiled.
I hope he adjusts well but I guess just like with anything, it'll take time.

FH and I already live together but I think the biggest change will be saving for a condo and looking to buy one after we are married. Also being used to being a Mrs. I also think there will be alot of love making once we are married. At least for the first year or so .

I think the biggest adjustment will be living together and actually having it just be US!!!!! Our families are around 24/7 so it will be a (welcome!) change to really just be able to kick back the 2 of us
