After i met Fh, he called me the next day to hang out and we did everyday for a week, and i could so tell he really liked me and well he hadn't said anything about the bf/gf situation, and (my friend who was friends with us both) told me that he is so nervous to ask me and that i will say no) so knowing that one night we were hangin out and i was saying goodbye (we started to make out and i said by the way do you want to be my boyfriend? and he was so happy he said yes and then said thank you for releaving that stress.. i was too nervous ...blah blah balh it willl be 4 years this Nov. 2nd!
(thats probally why it took 3 1/2 years for us to get engaged...he was probally still to nervous and i just kept buggin him and finally he gave in lol

We were really good friends in 9th grade then in 10th grade we were at a New Years Eve party and we snuck away right before midnight and he told me how much he loved me and that he always did. We kissed for the first time at midnight....ooohhh...

We met at work....he used to always smile at me and try to make conversation but I always gave him the cold shoulder...he asked me out a few times, but I always said no...this went on for months, until one time I agreed to meet up with him at a club. We were dancing and he kissed me...we started talking/dating after that for a few weeks, until he asked me to be his girlfriend.

We were dating...and we had said I love you the day before and the next day he said ' I will be honored and grateful...I will never hurt you or waste your time if you accept being my girlfriend' he was driving and he was looking over at me and I was like Sure I will...and his kissed my hand and it was history after that!

My fh swears he fell in love with me the first day he met me at a bowling ally on my 18th birthday. I was with someone else at the time, but that didnt work out. FH was best friends with my best friends bf, so he always chilled with us and came camping with us one day and asked me for my #, i was really drunk so i told him 'i dont remeber it ask me 2morro' He did and i gave it to him, he tried asking me out i kept saying no. So he gave up. Like 3 weeks later i changed my mind after we hung out as a group and asked him out, (gave him a whole speech, which he still tells me he loved) and now 4 years later we're engaged. It was basically alot of me saying no ure to old and him being persistant. lol I was playing hard to get

I met my bf thru a friend. and this friend took forever to introduce us. so one night i went down with a friend where they both worked and set up perfectly. i left an away message up saying i'm at some bowling alley watch my friend bowl. our friend called me and asked where i was so i told him. he came down. he called the bf and told him to get down there. after a few weeks we had a friend night date. we had all our friends together hanging out and then when me and my best friend went to go leave he took me aside and asked i said yes he gave me a rose.. it will be 3 years in 13 days.. and a propsal will be on the way. hopefully around our anniversary!

Awwww...all you guys have such romantic stories. Mine is not so romantic.
I met FH at a 'late-night' in college (its one of those parties after the bars close.) We were dancing and then ended up making out against the wall. The next day my friend kept telling me how we were the two drunkest people at the party. FH and I continued to meet up when we were drunk and make out for about a week, until he finally asked me to dinner...SOBER! That night he asked me to be his girlfriend, but I told him no because I had just gotten out of a relationship. The next night, I told him I wanted to be his girlfriend...and here we are 3 years later. We actually got engaged on our 3 year anniversary of our first date.

FH and I were friends b/4 we 'made it official'
On Oct 17, 2001, we had an amazing day at school. It was a beautiful day and I so did not want to go to work..... anyway, I get to work and FH calls me and says that he needs to see me to talk to me. I was like we were just together and i just got to work there is no way that you can see me now. He kept on pushing the issue how he wanted to see me and then finally he is like, 'your gonna make me do this over the phone' and I said 'WHAT?' and at 4:22pm, he asked me to be his girlfriend.... I started hysterical laughing on the phone and told him that I will meet up with him after work.
It was so weird to see him then, i was so used to 'being friends' that when we first saw eachother after it was 'official' it was the weridest feeling.... as if I was looking at him through a new set of eyes!!! It was great. I remember that day like it was yesterday. I remember the exact spot where we met up!!

HAHA FH did not ask me out..... we started talking in 10th grade in italian & history (he used to cheat off of me in history lol) we started to talk online too over AIM, we continued on like that until the end of 11th grade when we had a bet about something and he won so he's like ok we'll go to the movies but you have to pick the date time and movie! The day after we went to the movies he went on vacation for a week and didnt call me then I went on vacation for a week so we didnt see each other for two weeks. When we were both back at the end of July my dad got really sick and was in the hospital so he came over and stayed with me and talked until like one in the morning. We had our first kiss on August 3rd so we just chose that to be our date!

FH and I met through a car club. He claims he had seen me at one of the drives we went on (I don't remember seeing him there). A few weeks later I had a BBQ at my house that I invited people from the car club to. He sent me a PM (same as an FM) asking if he could come and I said sure. He came and spoke all of 4 words to me (ie 'where is the bathroom). A few weeks later one of my friends (from the car club) saw FH was online and said oh you should IM him. So I did, and over the next week or so we talked online every night, for several hours. I started to realize I liked him, but we were both leaving for vacation. I decided I needed to say something before we left, so I just told him I wanted to get to know him as more then a friend and he said he agreed. 3 weeks later when we got back from vacation we went on our first date. After about a month or two of dating he said to me one night 'Um does this mean we aren't seeing other people?'

We met online... originally I thought we'd just be friends. I thought we were too alike and all we did when we spoke was crack jokes... I thought we'd never find that romantic spark - just be buddies. We were always planning on meeting up but things never worked out.
Finally I was going to a haunted house with my sisters and my sister's then bf now husband. I invited Mike and he said yes. I showed up to his house with three other people for the date! In the car, we discovered that we went to the same (very small) high school... he was a few years older though. So we went to the haunted house, then to TGIFs and then to a bar. After that first date, it seemed like we were just always together!

I was an intern where he worked and he got jealous that I become the 'baby' of the workplace so we started talking and became really good friends and we hung out alot but never really went on an official date.

We 'officialy' met at a mutual friend's party but we had gone to high school together. We did some smooching at the party and then he didn't call for 3 days (typical guy!). We went to Museum of Natural History as a first date and that night he told me he could kiss me forever but at this point he still didn't ask me out. Then about a week later he basically told me I was his girlfriend. Nothing to romantic about this story!

he never actually said 'will you be my girlfriend' or anything like that.. after we had been hanging out for a little over a month he was like 'so what day is our anniversary?' we didn't know the exact date so we just kinda picked a random day as our anniversary, lol.

i went to college with his friend scott. one friday evening, scott invited me to hang out with his crew. and so i did, met <3 dan <3 and saw him every day afterwards. i found out from scott that dan was under the impression that we were 'going out' and when i said that he hasnt asked, dan asked the next day typical 19yr old behavior.

We met through mutual friends, but lived on opposite sides of the country at the time. He called me all the time but I never thought it would work out. Then we started visiting each other, and on my 2nd visit to North Carolina, he took me to the Nascar amusement park and as we were playing mini-golf he got all shy and was like 'Uh, so, do you, like, think of me as your boyfriend?' and I asked him if he wanted me to and he said yes. Three months later, he moved out here to be with me and thats that!

may 07, 2004 - we met thru my sister and her ex bf (was/is best friends with FH)... we met at ikea... then went out to eat at ihop... we almost fell in love that day... we hung out every single day.. he came to my house... it was like we started dating from the beginning... but then on July 4th, 2004, he decided we had to make it 'official' even tho it's been official since the day we met... it was kinda mutual... butt he really asked...
