So, now that 06 has come, gone but not yet forgotten.....
At what point do you not care that your 'review' has not been bumped/viewed & Commented on?
Like for me....Im done, dont care...flattered if someone looks and may thrown a comment in or FM for a question.
I also wouldnt go in and 'BUMP' my review.
It hasnt been a yr year but I am content with what is going on NOW in my life and not living off 'my' wedding memories.
-I hope Im not offending anyone....just a question to make time fly on a boring Fri afternoon

I never bumped my review. I was happy some people saw it. My wedding was a year ago and the last time somebody commented on it was in May 2006. I'm over it.

Well this is a tough question for me since I haven't posted my review. But it's actually kind of funny that you asked it!! See, I put off writing my review bc then I'd have to admit that my wedding was actually over. Then I started writing it and now I'm at the point where I've got so much other stuff going on in my life that I don't even have the chance nor the motivation to finish it!! I want to post it bc I hope that something I say will be helpful to future brides, and I want to leave my mark here on LIW; but I just don't have the drive anymore like I used to.
I don't know when it happened, but all of a sudden I realized I'm ok with not being a B2B anymore. The day was wonderful and I looked forward to it for so long, but it's been great over the past 264 days to look back at and have all of those special memories. I think once you start to move on in your life whether it's buying a house, starting a family, or otherwise; you begin to realize that the wedding was a very small part of your lives together.
Now I love to stay on LIW to help the future brides with their upcoming weddings, to give them ideas/suggestions, calm down their anxieties, and just plain be happy and excited for them bc I understand the whole wedding process better now that I've been through it!!!!!!!!!!!

I totally agree and thats Y i find myself always coming back here to ck the fm's (if any), chat with the 06'ers that are still here and offer any advice I can like everyone else did when I 1st came here.

I don't know where mine is on the board, and don't really care. If it helps someone, great, I don't need it to be bumped to feel justified in writing it, or whatever.

I'll bump it with my final HM review when I'm back at the end of the month, but I only look at it if someone FMs me, otherwise I'm content.

I'll probably bump my review when I add my album pages but I wouldn't bump it just for the sake of having it on the first page of reviews.
With that said, I have to admit that I am kind of sad that very few people responded to my review. I am not a huge poster but I spent a lot of time on my review and wish it was appreciated a bit more.

This thread made me go look on Bride's Review and I see that my review is up there on the 1st page! I thought it would be long gone by now.
Preshy - I also see you put up a review of TWOTY... i'm going to have to read that this weekend.
I also have 2 pages of FM's that I haven't responded to (which I feel horrible about). I'm not on as much now so it's hard to answer them in a timely manner. But, i'll eventually get to all of them.

I didnt' care pretty much a week after I posted it.
recently I posted a 'mock' pity party post about my review not being bumped in a while, and a few people thought I was serious and bumped it

Same here. We are going on your honeymoon March 31- April 14 so when I get back I will write a review for that and that will probably be it.

i don't care where my review is, but i do hope it gets seen by anyone who is considering using any of my vendors. i think its good to read/see for brides to be who are considering booking atlantis. its flattering to get comments bc i did work hard to get it up w/a bunch of pics.

I bumped months ago when someone asked to see something. I also bumped for my anniversary for absolutely no good reason. Nobody added comments and I was not bothered by it at all.
