Can anyone walk me through the procedure in blocking rooms out at a hotel like

I have 4 hotels, I called and got the general $ idea. I know that 10 room block is the minimum to get discount. But I need to fill in the blanks on how to do it . What if my # is not 10 and I block 10. Do I really have to call everyone to get an idea? Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks-Bill
