Question on bride/groom introduction at reception

When I went to my cousin's wedding, they introduced the bride and groom as Dr. and Mrs..... in our case, I'm the Dr. he's the Mr.

We should probably just have them announce Mr and Mrs. M, right??

Any advice greatly appreciated!

i think this is your personal preference especially since you are the doctor.....

if you like using the title (always use it and want to) then go for it

if you like the traditional mr. and mrs. then do that.

while it's a great accomplishment--i don't think its necessary to reference the Dr. title for either a man or a woman. just Mr. & Mrs. sounds good to me.

we were intro'd as Mr. & Mrs. Peter & Melissa (Last name)

I also think it can be your call. At my friend's wedding, where she is the dr., she chose to be introduced as Mr and Mrs.

You can have them announce you any way you want.

You can do Mr. & Mrs. John Doe, or some couples prefer just first names. Or Mr. John and Mrs. Jane Doe.

It's completely up to you!!

Thanks for the input girls! I think I would prefer the Mr and Mrs too. I'm not pretentious about my title, I just didn't want my parents to get criticized by our relatives if I don't use it!
