Question on Deposits

Is there a percentage or payment schedule the DJ, photographer & florist follow? I have yet to make any appts so I wanted to be prepared.........

Really depends on policy of the business--some make you pay a percentage for service others say 100 or 500 dollar deposits..

This! It really just depends on each business. Ive gotten dif prices for dif plcs.

Definitely depends on the company...i had to put down $500 for my dj, while other girls only had to put down $200..

I would keep an open mind when visiting vendors because they do vary a lot. I mean, we found the more expensive the vendor, the bigger deposit. But it depends.

Thanks ladies!! It just makes me nervous having to put a huge deposit down if the event is a yr away. It worries me that they may go out of business and take off with the money LOL
