I want to do my invites in an excel spreadsheet alphabetized. Do I put the Mr. and Mrs in the same column as the names? Then it will alphabetize by the Mr's I think. HELP!!!!

Re: Question on invite addressing?
Titles go on their own column. When sorting, sort by last name, thus avoiding the title sort.

WHen you sort by 'last name' it knows that the entire line goes together, so it keeps the title and first name with the last name. Make sure you highlight your entire spreadsheet, then do 'File', 'Print Area' and then 'Set Print Area'...this guarantees that the document you're working on will be kept together. To sort, do 'Data', 'Sort' and then choose the column you want to sort by. Make sue you name your columns like 'Title', 'First Name', 'Last Name', etc so that sorting will be easier, if not do 'A', 'B', etc. based on where the info you want sorted lies.
Hope this makes sense.
