Question on printing addresses?
Re: Question on printing addresses?
I did this. I had to put each envelope in individually
Re: Question on printing addresses?
But did you have to type one, and then print it, type another then print?
Re: Question on printing addresses?
yes. But I think there is a way to do it if you have the addresses in mail merge
Re: Question on printing addresses?
I did it individually (by set actually) directly onto the envelopes. I wouldn't risk a mistake (misfeeding, etc.) unless you have a lot of extra envelopes to risk.
Re: Question on printing addresses?
FH did it. He had the addresses in an Excel spreadsheet and from there was able to print one at a time. It just ran through the spreadsheet. BTW, we needed separate columns for name, street, town, state, and zip.
Re: Question on printing addresses?
Do you go into mail merge for that, how do you set up the spreadsheet?
Re: Question on printing addresses?
shelzy I have the same quation - I think Setf used a mail merge for hers...maybe she can help us? Stef you out there?

Re: Question on printing addresses?
I printed them onto the envelopes by creating a mail merge. When it asks what kind of merge document you want to create, just select 'envelopes'. Make sure you enter the correct measurements for your envelopes. I created the merge and then fed the envelopes through individually so that they fed properly.
Re: Question on printing addresses?
shelzyp, i'll ask to ask FH how he did it. he came into work with me a few weeks ago and did it on the sunday i had to work. (big project, had to work the weekend.) i was so preoccupied with work that i have no idea what he did except that i know he used excel and printed directly from there. i'll ask him and let you know!
