Question on the seating chart tool

Question on the seating chart tool

I still will most likely end up doing the sticky flags on the paper plates routine because with 45 people still outstanding after the deadline, all but like 4 tables are going to have to change I started playing with the seating chart tool here just to collect my thoughts, and is there any way to make it have more than 9 tables, or am I just blind?

I didnt use the one on here but you should be able to add more then 9 tables I would think!

Yeah, you would think, but I have all 9 tables tentatively filled, still have 8 people left tableless, and once we get confirmations on the remaining 45 people where will they go?

Ali, try weddingwire.com ... I put all of my tables on there- I had 14 or 15 I believe. It was sooooooo helpful, especially when people starting changing rsvps last minute!

Good thing it was easy to click and drag people from each table, otherwise I would of had a really hard time.

Wedding Wire is definitely the best thing to use for seating!!

Re: Question on the seating chart tool

I just beat the system!!!!

Apparently it only creates 'just enough' tables based on the number of your guest list and how many can be seated at each table as a max. So I had to make like 3 or 4 guests 'X', 'Y', 'Z' that each had 11 members in their parties to bump it up to 13 tables being created. I'm embarassed it took me almost a day to figure that out

Yes. The way it works is you have to add every guest's name & then set it to how many people per table. Right now you only have enough people for nine tables. As soon as you have enough for nine tables and one additional person, it will add table 10 and so on.

Silly...I had to put 12 as a max per table, because that's the max, but most of my tables are 10, 11, depending on FH's last two coworkers maybe 2 tables of 8, etc...I really want these remaining 43 people to give me an answer

We're working on it, but apparently they don't like responding to voicemails and emails either

I used Excel for tables. It was pretty easy and you could easily change tables around.

I did the same thing! I tried the wedding wire website but I just got frustrated with it. I just copy and pasted all of my RSVP's from an excel chart I had to another and started moving them into columns for tables. Very simple!
