so FH and I are having a bridal party cocktail party because we haven't 'officially' asked everyone yet (although they all know), so it's going to be around 20 people.. a friend asked if significant others are invited... I feel bad saying no is that OK t just tell her that we are trying to keep it just the bridal party? it's just that we have things planned for them and with boyfriends I think it would just be too much... thanks!

Are you paying for it? If you're hosting but not paying, it would be nice for you to let others bring their SOs. Honestly, I think it would be nice if you can swing it to let them bring their SOs anyway since they'd be bringing them to the wedding.

Well it's at our apartment... so yes we are paying... it's not a big party or anything just appetizers and cocktails

thanks... I feel bad, but I think if it were me I would understand...
I am trying to imagine a friend asking me to be a part of the BP and having a party just for us and not bringing FH... I don't think I would care since it's technically a wedding event!
