question re: BMs helping with projects

There's a DIY project i'm currently working on that requires a considerable amount of work (mostly cutting)

one of my BMs offered to come help me out with this project when i'm ready to start it (prob in a week or two) and i accepted her offer.

but now i'm starting to reconsider. i have high standards and my BM is not very artistic.

should i just do it myself and tell her that her help isn't needed (but thanks anyway) ... or just have her come (after all, it's mostly cutting ... how bad could it be)?

Thanks

ETA: it's hard to share what the project actually is ... i'm having all sorts of shapes printed out on heavy card stock paper ... these shapes need to be cut out neatly and they'll be put on the tables at the reception ... i'll show pictures once i've done it

Tell her that you got started on it early and you dont have much left and you can finish it on your own...

the only people that will help me are my mom and sisters and its nothing artisitc really so i dont really have an answer for the poll

I would just tell her that you are almost done and it looks that you won't be needing her help with this project but if anything else will come up you will ask her for her help

I'd just do it myself. I'm anal when it comes to stuff like that. My moh got lazy halfway through the invite assembly and I went back and fixed all of them myself and hated every minute of it.
