My mom and I were discussing favors, and had different opinions, so my mom asked me to ask you girls. (I think it's so fun that she leans on this board, too.)
Here's the question - When you have a single guest who brings a guest (like Mr. Sal O. and Guest), do EACH of them get a favor, or is it still one per couple? Another way of putting this - we know if you have a single person, they get their own favor, but the question is if the single person brings a date, does their date get their own favor too? Any help would be great!

I have always been under the assumption that it is one per couple not matter what.

i think we'll be giving one favor per couple, whether or not the couple is dating, engaged, or married. But our favor is the placecard frame, and both their names will be on it.

It's definitely safe to say that favors are per couple... even when the +1 is a date. However, you should always have extras to give out, for people who want double, or for the date.

I was always wondering the same thing, but I have been told that it is one favor per invitation.

Thanks for the quick responses! I always thought it was one per couple, too, no matter what. But the idea to have extras is a good one. I will let mom know what you guys had to say!

completely agree - there are some people that might not be able to attend the wedding, but would still like a favor.
