Question re: Invitations

Question re: Invitations

I don't know where to start.

We don't want to DIY with the invitations (by we, I mean my mother, in particular). I expect that we will be sending about 120 invitations, with inserts (i.e. church, directions, hotel info, etc.)

What should I be budgeting? Any recommendations as to where we can go in Suffolk?

I would like something cream and traditional, but maybe a unique embellishment (i.e. burgundy bow to match my theme, or something...)

I do NOT want to spend a lot of money on this.

Also, does anyone have contact info for Tessa, have read a lot about her.

Thanks for your help!

Re: Question re: Invitations

Costco.com has affordable invitations...probably would run you from 300-400 for 120.

weddingpaperdivas.com has really nice invites in that range or a little lower as well.

I know girls have spent over $1000 on invites, and if you are looking for letterpress invites it'll run you around that price.

Re: Question re: Invitations

contact Judi at

www.abridalpaperie.com

She is great and can probably work with your budget.

I had 150 invites (3 layer) -- Thermography
RSVP cards
RSVP envelopes
Lined envelopes
computerized calligraphy

all for under $800

If you do single layer it will be a lot cheaper.
