Question re: wedding gown and bm dresses

Hi girls! I just have a few questions here. I am getting married on Sept. 28, 2007.

I was wondering if it is too soon to start shopping for a wedding gown. Also, do you shop for the brides dress first or the bm dresses?

Do I need to find the bm dresses before I coordinate my flowers? As you can tell, I am clueless with this stuff. LOL...

Any help is appreciated and thanks in advance for your help. Congrats to all of you!!!

I would get the brides gown first. Usually, what wind up getting is what you didn't expect to get. Then you can pick the bridesmaids dress and then coordinate the flowers from there. Unless you know what color scheme you want. I'm thinking pink but I have no idea what color gown i'm getting. I just know it won't be white!

I don't think it's too soon for you to start shopping for you dress. I know that w/ me, my dress takes 10 months and mt BM's 6 months. I ordered my dress in Jan 06 and my BM's in June 06

Get your dress first!!! It's not too early. I got my gown 13 months before my wedding. And you never know how long it'll take you to find one. I'd wait to order flowers until you find BM dresses. You never know what you might find that could change your mind on colors.
