When you had your girls order their BM dresses, did you all do it together all at once, or did you have everyone do it on their own?
Also, did you all do lunch or dinner before or after? They all don't really know eachother and I thought it might be nice if we all got lunch. If we do that, should I be treating everyone that comes to lunch? (Possibility of 7 girls, an aunt, and 3 little girls coming . . . )
These may seem like silly questions, but I want to do the 'right thing' TIA

This was the most difficult thing so far wedding wise. I went to Commack wedding Center where my girls got their dresses 6 times...because they could not get a time that was mutual for everyone..and I had 3 fg's . We finally placed the order about 4 & 1/2 months after the first girl got measured. I did go out to lunch with some of them after. Since some of our people dont know each other we are having a GTG at one of the bm's houses in a few weeks.

No, I had the girls call or go to the boutiqe and order their dresses. They just needed to give measurements. I will do a lunch prob after the holidays on a sunday. 2of the girls have kids so I have to do something that will accomodate them too since I know they will have to bring them.

I went looking with my girls about 3x, with 3 or 4 of them at a time. They all know each other more or less. They are going on their own to get measured. I'm hoping to do a BM luncheon a month or so before the wedding for all of them.

6 out of 7 of my BMs came on the same day to get their dresses and we went out to brunch afterwards. Unfortunately, the 1 girl who couldnt come to get measured, and the 1 other girl who couldnt come out brunch after, were the 2 who dont really know the rest of the girls (well, the others are close, so i especially wanted these 2 to be able to be there). We went dutch. (we went to a diner, so it wasnt anything formal anyway). No one expected me to pay, b/c it was basically a group decision... we didnt make set plans, so since i didnt officially invite them out to brunch after, i dont think any of them expected me to pay.

I have no clue how I will work it out with my girls since they reside all over, but my cousin took all of us, with the exception of 2 girls to try on dresses.
She was really sweet. We met by her and she had bagels and mimosas ready since we got there around 11 a.m. After trying on dresses, and deciding we all booked. One of the other girls had decided on the same dress 2 days before and the other girl saw the dress on the internet and approved. So, we all booked at the same time since she had their info. Afterwards, we went out to lunch, which her mom picked up the tab. It was a fun day and it was great getting to know the other girls.
