Question regarding BP gifts

I want to clarify I don't make very much but tried my hardest to have nice things for the bp. I need advice to make sure I am did okay.

My bp didn't not contribute to the shower at all - but two of the three bp are throwing me a batch party. They paid $75 each for the hotel and will chip in for dinner/drinks for the evening.

This is what i have/thinking:

BM who didn't chip in to bach party gets monogramed tote bag, pair of earrings and shawl.

BM who is chipping in for bach party gets monogramed tote bag, pair of earrings, shawl and a bracelet.

Man of honor who is chipping in for bach party gets tie, cufflinks and either a $50 gift certificate to B&H photo or should i get him a flask with monogram/beer related item.

I really need help with this because fh feels i should just get man of honor the tie and cufflinks only and maybe a flask but deff. not a $50 gift cert but I feel I am being cheap if i do that.

What do you think?

Re: Question regarding BP gifts

When I bought my bridal party gifts I didn't segregate I thought of something nice for all my girls and I bought it. The amount doesn't matter if its nice and beautiful and you put some thought in to it. It is just something to say thank you for being a part of my day and in my bridal party. You can give your bridal party whatever you want to buy them. I believe your bridal party knows that weddings are expensive and would be happy with whatever they get.

I am giving all of mine the same gift regardless of how much $ or time they have invested. I would give the guy a similar gift to the girls.

After reading everyone's responses I am giving my man of honor the bigger gift and the girls get the same thing.

Thank you!!!

That's tough! I would think to give them all the same thing....unfortunately I think y ou will get hard feelings out of your BM who got less...It does stink that she didn't help out with the BP...I was in a wedding where some of the BP didn't help with the bachelorette party and we all got the same thing...i guess it's the nature of being in the BP. I think the girls who chipped in know that you appreciate it. Maybe write it in their card or however you are thanking them. Then they know that you recognized their efforts...my friend also invited a few of the bridal party people to a mani pedi as her thanks for the help..she did it discreetly...

see i always thought you gave the 'matron/maid or in my case Man of honor' more of a gift but if you don't then i will do the gift cert.

Thanks! I have another bracelet to give to the other bm but i figured to not give it to her so the other one didnt think bad of me to give her the same as her.

I get confused with this b/s.

Sorry----I didn't read the OP correctly. If he is your MH, i would give him something extra. My sis did 4 me and I'll give her something more too. For the other BM's, I would all give them the same gift regardless of how much they have done.

Re: Question regarding BP gifts

ive always told our brides to do one of 2 things.

(1) either get all the girls the same thing(s)

(2) get each girl something they really want/need. one thing that is similar price range for each girl

you should always get the MOH something a little extra
