I am almost 30 and my maternal instincts have NOT kicked in yet. We agreed that after a year of marriage we will TTC.

We definitely do not want children. It isn't the lifestyle we want to lead. I do see babies sometimes and think it would be nice to have them, but then I see another child throwing a tantrum and realize that I don't want to go through with it. Who knows, maybe when that biological clock starts ticking I'll change my mind, but for now I am set not to have any children.

We want to have 2 children.

I always wanted to get married and have kids like 3-4 years later (so we could enjoy each other) but now that the clock is RUNNING we will probably only wait a year or so.

we DEFINITELY want children .. i want 3, he wants 10 ideally he'd like to start trying after our 1st anniversary but i'm way too young - so maybe in another 4 years?

So the average is waiting 2 yrs, pretty cool.

Julybaby Im with you, Id like to adopt rather than go thrugh child birth and Id take a child 2yrs or older. When they are so tiny it scares me

We want children, probably 2, but we want to wait 2 or 3 years after we get married.

Certainly hasn't been fun lately. The best fun I am having is spending time with FH & planning my wedding. Although she was supposed to be a part of it it doesn't look like she will

I've never wanted any. My FI says he agrees - well, most of the time. I thimk every time we spend time with a baby, we both start to think - Well, maybe. But, then it wears off.

Ideally I'd like to try a few months after the wedding (when I turn 30) but I won't try until I get my bachelors degree...which could be anywhere from when we get married to a year later. I only want 1 child though...too many kids around me makes me crazy!
