Question regarding placecards, programs, etc.

For those of you that have printed out placecards, programs, and menus, what is the most common approach? I would rather not use a calligrapher if possible. Is there a specific computer program w/ fonts that I can buy to print out the information? I found several great websites with program kits, paper, and placecards, just not sure where to go from there. I am NOT computer savvy. Luckily, my fiance is in the computer field and can help. I was just curious what other people used or will be using. TIA!

I am buying my own paper to make my menus b/c I dont' think it is worth it to pay someone to do it. The programs I foudn for $100 for simple ones and I am just going to order them through my invitation person. As for placecards I haven't decided what I am going to do yet but if I do the votice placecards then I am going to do them myself If I do a traditional placecard w/ leaves on them I am going to maek the placecards & have my calligrapher write on them. Sorry I dont' know if that really help!

Im making my own because its really simple. Im buying the paper and Im using calligraphy fonts. I found some really nice ones on dafonts.com

Any other websites to go for fonts? Is Michaels a good place to go to get specific labels, etc.? I know some of you mentioned Michaels on prior posts.

I printed my invitations addresses out with a nice font onto clear labels and they looked great.

I purchased paper and will print out my own menus, programs and placecards myself. We have a tight budget and the more I can do myself, the more money we will save... and I feel like I've done more then just pay people to make things beautiful for me... I put my heart into it.

You don't need menus!!!!!!!!! Land's End puts them out for you and they are beautiful!

I printed out my envelopes for my invitations and they came out great!!

All I did was download a free font and then install it into the fonts folder.

I liked http://www.dafont.com/en/ the best.

But also try:
