Question- something my florist said- now I'm confused
Im using ************* florists in Woodbury. I had my design session last week and the woman said something to me that didn't really sink in until after I left. She told me when I come back to approve the centerpieces I need to bring the ribbons that I want the bouquets wrapped in with me. She's like 'oh you can just pick them up at Michaels I need 5 yards for each girls bouquet.' I'm paying thousands of dollars and I have to provide my own ribbons!? This doesn't sound right to me. Is this normal? Help please!

I think its so you get the exact color you want. However, my florist said she would provide them.

Question- something my florist said- now I'm confused
My florist told me if I want the bouquet wrap to match my BM's I can bring in the bottom of the hem of their dresses that they can wrap them but she didn't say I would have to buy anything if I didn't go that route. HTH

Question- something my florist said- now I'm confused
She told me I could do that too but the told me to go to michaels. Doesn't sound right to me though. I understand the fabric from the girls dresses but not sending me out to a store that's about an hour from my house to get ribbons for something I'm paying her to do!

i've personally had the dyes from cheaper ribbons run onto my hands after holding it all day. be careful if you are going to buy them.

My florist provided all the ribbon. For the amount of money they charge they can go out to Michaels and get it

My florist provdies the ribbon but if you want it to match exactly then you have to provide it. I would ask them again.

My florist never mentioned anything about that to me, but he wrapped them in ivory satin and it was perfect. My dress was ivory. I'm sure they have satin fabric that they can use.
