Question stemming from my STD......

On your STD, do you put the town where you are having your ceremony or do you put the town where you are having your reception?

crap - i didnt even put a town!?! am i supposed to LOL - I just assumed the details are what the invites were for and the STD was just to make them aware of the date???

we didnt put anything... we just did our names, the date, save the date and inviation to follow...

I was going to put our website, but FH is like sooo paranoid of people knowing his business....
so I had seen some STD's on line that had the town listed, so I decided to use that to fill up the space.

ETA: but I see some girls have mentioned I should use the town of my reception, so now I am utterly confused!!

we didnt put a town or city. we put out wedding website and that had all the info they would need to know about the wedding.

I'm having ceremony and reception at the same place so didn't have that issue.

However, I have gotten STDs that just said 'Long Island, New York'. I'm guessing that would cover both places for you.

the only reason why we did STDs is because our Church is at 2PM on a Friday. we hope that since everyone had a year notice, that more people will come to Church. so our STD has the Church time & information.
