Or something you think they really wanted off the registry which is something I have done where I can't spend as much $$ as I may feel like I 'should' if I was giving $$.
I don't know if that made sense.
Sometimes I also like doing the registry as a wedding gift for someone I am not close to because I think giving $$ seems a little awkward.

My first suggestion - money. Would you feel more comfortable revisiting their registry and getting a thing or two from there instead of giving money?

Depends on the person - I'd give 150 I think. I'm not really good at this.
I like the pet idea. Who wouldn't love a little kitten curling around their cocktail dress? Very Audrey Hepburn!
