if you checked the box when you went to the DMV, they should've changed it for you ... you should've gotten a mailing from the board of elections with your new name/addy and election district ...

I may have gotten it and forgot. It was while back. I wonder if I just go if it will be OK? If I show DL?

when i went in they had my new address but my maiden name ... they're not supposed to ask for ID, but you can show it if you want ... i'd tell them your married name and see if they find you in the records - if they don't then explain and ask them to look under your maiden name ...

I had no problems. I just went in and told them I had just gotten married and how was I supposed to go about changing my name. They told me it really wasn't a big deal and they could submit a change of name form. But they didn't ask me for ID or anything. They didnt seem to think having a new name was much of a big deal....
