Question: Why did you choose May?

Why did you choose to get married in May? For me, my bday is in May and it's always been my favorite month. I wanted a decent chance of no rain, and I didn't want it to be super hot outside. To go even further, we choose Memorial Day weekend b/c FH's family have to come up from Florida, along w/ some of my own family members, so we thought it would be a little easier for them.

Really wanted fall 2005 but FH thought it was too sonn after we got engaged. We both did not want winter and May was the absolute latest I would get married. EW gave us a great deal!

I love Spring! Not to hot not to cold. I chose May 20 because it's my father's birthday. I wanted to celebrate the beginning of my new life with his birthday. It's going to be one big party.

Because I had already planned my wedding for September of 2005 but after postponing, September of 2006 seemed too far away, so May of 2006 fit perfectly.

we got engaged on the 13th so I wanted to also get married on the 13th :) In the Jewish religion the #13 is a lucky number :):)

Originally, my date was 7/30 because I was teaching. Now that I am not teaching anymore, I didn't want it to be in the middle of the summer when it would be too hot. I knew I wanted to do a Sun. afternoon to save money, and May 28th was perfect because its a holiday weekend, so people have both the day before and after off.

love the spring and i wanted an outside wedding..so i figured may would be a great mo. with all the flowers blooming :) I LOVE MAY

i wanted to do it after i'm finished w/ school and before i'll (hopefully) start working and still fulfill my internship requirements.

There were alot of reasons..

1) I wanted warm weather but not hot..

2) A Christmas wedding (Big dream of mine), was out of the question because 90% of FH family lives in Ohio, my biggest fear is that they would get snowed in and wouldn't be able to attend.

3) It fell in our budget

4) The week before Apr 30, is FH's parents 33 wedding anniversary, and a few days after May 11 is my parents 36th wedding anniversary soooo I'd say it's also good karma!!

I picked may 27 beacuse FH's b'day is the 30 and my b'day is exactly the one month after. I picked memeorial wekend for my out of town guests and i want my guests to have a good time without worrying about work the next day. I plan to have a great reception and and i have signature drink so you should know its going to be a party.

The weather too, I dont want too hot and humid like in June but nothign too cold either, I just hope it does not rain.

wanted an outdoor-feel - - - but not in the summer heat. Plus, the prices go up the following week!

Well I was set on a late spring/early summer wedding. April has too many other things going on in my family. My MOH was supposed to be getting married in June when we set our date, so June was out.... We chose Memorial Day Weekend because we had a few people coming in from OOT so it would give them some extra time here. And as far as why we chose Sunday, 5/28, was due to the fact that it saved us about $3000 to have a Sunday night wedding rather than Saturday night!

we wanted a spring wedding, but early spring. But not so early that we would get snowed out. Then fi's mom told us we could not get married during Lent. (in my church we can but since his priest is co-officiating, she said no. I still think she never asked)

We had originally wanted late March so we could go Snowboarding on our honeymoon. Since that didn't work out, we looked at april. There were too many things going on. Easter, First Holy communions, so that took us to May. And there were only two dates that looked good in all of spring. April 29 or May 20. We wound up taking May 20. Not sure why. I think because we figured if snowboarding was out of the question, we might as well try for better weather. So may 20 it is.

Long story I know, but it was not an easy process for us choosing a date!

I've always loved May and My Birthday is May 13th. I tried to book my wedding for that day but the hall had it booked already and I booked two years in advance!

I wanted a winter wedding but my FH loves the summer so we decided to comprimise on Spring. We also picked the Venetian Yacht Club because he has a boat and loves the water
