Question....Is your FI different than the person you pictured yourself marrying??

Just wondering....I always thought I would marry a tall business man and I am marrying a teacher which is actually better since I am a teacher too so we have the same schedule..but he is tall and very cute

I could never actually picture what my FH would look like until I met Justin. It bothered me, b/c I could never picture my wedding day at all b/c the groom was a mystery. I will say I did want to eventually wind up with someone who is everything Justin is. On our 3rd or 4th date, the vision was there. I looked at Justin, and all of a sudden the mystery man at the end of the aisle became a reality. He meets every last criteria, and he is soooo cute to boot!!

How did we all get so lucky?

It's so funny, because David has all of the qualities I looked for in a man and ever since I was little I had this huge crush on him (I know him since kindegarten). As some of you know, we parted ways as we got older and I got engaged to someone else....this guy was the complete opposite of David and someone who was completely opposite of me...he was a typical bad guy. Of course, that didn't work and as time passed I got involved with David and here I am with the man of my dreams!! He's every thing I envisioned for myself Besides the fact that he's a very good boy...helps that I'm a good girl Well, most of the times

When I was heavy I alway thought I'd marry a skinny guy. Now that I am thin, I am with a big guy and I love every inch of him

I always thought I would marry a tall, blue eyed, blue collar man (actually fits my ex)

But I got something so much better! My FH may be short (5'10'), brown eyed, successful businessman! I honestly would not trade him in for a million dollars I could not be more excited to be marrying my FH

I always thought I would marry a very liberal, intellectual type. FH is much more middle of the road - and very much into sports (not books/debating). Who knew?

Yes he is, I thought I would marry a more sports minded, politically active type like myself, but I actually ended up with a more nature loving, non political quiet guy. We are total opposites in alot of ways but our basic values and goals in life are totally the same, I also thought it would be an older man, but actually he's younger.. as far as looks, he pretty much fits my usual type, tall, dark hair and eyes.. cute

Tall, dark and handsome ....sweet Thoughtful and puts me before anything ...funny and likes to party works hard and very responsible ...thats what I wanted and thats what I got!

Ditto - - but my FI is the opposite of what I'd normally be attracted to. I normally like the blond-haired, blue-eyed business type - - - - and I'm marrying one with dark brown hair and eyes, who worked in construction when we first met.

I make myself sick when I think of how much I love him!

I never had a picture of who and what they might look like but my 1st boyfriend was a Steve.....my 1st um.... well, u know was named Steve. Back then I said, I am going to marry a Steve. Just going to happen!
Then upon meeting FH,Steve, we had these stupid things in common...our house had the same exact couches and his bathroom had the same exact tiles as mine! Weird! So I kept telling him, See...you and I are made to get married! He laughed and was like, yea..OK!

Uh, here we are now!

Yes, it's true!! I thought I'd end up with someone of comparable size, but instead my FI is as big as a pro football player. As far as personality I think he's what I've always pictured, someone that I just enjoy being with soooo much!!! Quite frankly, I also didn't think I'd be marrying someone 16 years older than me who's divorced with a child. Oh well, I still think he's better than the man of my dreams!!!

I think that Brian has all of the qualities that I was looking for. He's really funny, and we're always laughing. I didn't think that I would be marrying an attorney though..I was thinking of myself with a teacher.

I can't really say because I don't think I ever had a picture in my head of the man I would marry. Although I did write in an old diary once that I loved light hair and blue eyes.. and thats what I have.....

Well, I thought the man I was going to marry would be over 6 feet (all my exs were 6'1-6'2) blue/green eyes.
But my FI is 5'9 with brwn eyes. We are some what opposite as far as personalities go. But we definitely compliment eachother.
He's the best man that I could of envisioned myself to marry and he totally puts up with my $hit. lol
He's such a hardworker and so responsible.

I truley LOVE him with all my heart!
