Question....Money Tree

Co Worker just got an invite to an eparty and on the bottom it said

Money Tree Provided No Registry

She asked me what this meant b/c I am getting married

I have no idea...but I am hoping it does not literally mean..a tree to put money on...GASP...

Does anyone know?????

That's what I think it means by 'money tree'....sounds like something my friend would do...b/c she is not planning to register anywhere and wants money to use towards the wedding/HM...that's a whole another story though.

That is sooo inappropriate its not even funny!!!!

Just for that I would give them a really ugly gift!

well i have heard of money trees before, but usually just for babies to start a trust or something and you dont give alot like 5bucks because you bring gifts too for like a baptizim but never for a wedding.

although my friend got married and at her shower she didnt register anywhere except liberty travel for her HM and guests would just contribute towards her HM

If anythign they should of just registered at Bed bath and beyond and returned the gifts for cash after.
