My Fiance was Baptized in Rockaway Beach, we have to get a copy of his Certificate. Does anyone know how long it takes to get a copy?

It shouldn't take that long about two weeks tops. My FH had to get one from where he was baptized in the Bronx.

it does not take long my brother needed to get his because he was going to be my godfather to my nephew and my sister use a different chruch now and they wanted them, it only took a week

Just call the church he was baptized in and tell them you need a copy and why. You can problably go pick it up within a day.

They come pretty quick... Dont get it too early though... at my church It has to be dated NO more then either 3 or 6 months before the wedding.. Probably should check that out now that I think of it lol

no not yet! This post actually reminded reminded me about it, thank you!! FH never was baptized so I just have to get mine... thankfully my old church is 5 minutes from home.
